Capacitors

A capacitor is a device that is used to store the charge in an electrical circuit. A capacitor functions the same as a battery, but charges and discharges better. Capacitors are made from conductive materials and come in a range of shapes and sizes. They are measured by using the capacitor label. There are two types of capacitor: polarised and unpolarised.
