AND

The AND gate is one of the basic logic gates. It is used in digital electronic circuits and performs a basic logical formula. The logic gate output is usually shown in Boolean algebra. The AND gate function is stated in the truth tables. The table shows how the AND gate works for example (1) means high or ON and (0) means low or OFF.

AND gates can be found in digital circuits that control how traffic lights turn off and on.
